Possible Sasquatch Tracks Found in Nova Scotia

A YouTube user Flaxalf discovered these footprints while on a hike in Nova Scotia last summer. The trackway was approximately a kilometer in length, which he followed until they faded off into the bush.

I agree with you will Will Fowler. For a massive primate, I expect bigger toes. And it is remarkably clean. Hey Craig woolheater, can you tell from your image if there is dermal ridges?
They are fake, look at the line under the toes
Exactly Michael, primates in general such as gorillas have a foot width capable of supporting a 400 lb body. For a supposed 7 ft plus beast in excess of 500 lbs full grown this foot is distinctly human. Nothing about this foot says I walk barefoot every day in all terrain.
Human or a young Bigfoot… i’m leaning human…
My size 13 eee bare foot prints are larger than these prints. I have the exact same lighter which is three inches long and it takes 4 of them to equal my bare foot’s length. Slippage on the soft ground is also making the prints appear slightly larger than they actually are but, these prints are not very large at all. A lot of people like going barefoot but that only means they haven’t stepped on anything harmful yet.
The problem with using lighters as a scale for indicating size is that as of late companies, such as Bic, have started manufacturing mini lighters.

the image shows what looks like an outline at the base of the toes and around the outside of the foot.
almost like a sneaker.
like one of those vibram open toe barefoot running sneakers.

The images shows a Bic Slim Line lighter, not a mini. They measure 3 inches long. I’m holding one in my hand right now. The Minis are shorter and stubbier than the Slim Lines.
These prints – faked or not – are of human origin. Nothing to do with Bigfoot here.
These look to be made by toe shoes.
@ decstrukt: I think you nailed it. The photo at the 40 second mark CLEARLY shows some type artificial sole-print behind the toes and as others have pointed out, they really aren’t all that large – certainly not outside that of a human foot.
Also, considering the apparent dampness of the soil, the 1″ – 2.5″ depth of the tracks is not very surprising, especially if the individuals were cross-county/trail runners moving at speed. That there were “three distinct sets of tracks” could also be explained by a trio of runners out for some exercise. And the fact that the prints seemed to go in both directions? Well, if you’re gonna go out, at some point you’ve gotta come back, right?
All in all, nothing here that can’t readily be explained by a few guys out on a back-to-nature run. Not to say it absolutely COULDN’T be a trio of Squatches out for a stroll, but I’d have to give the nod to the Vibram-wearing trail-runners.

All signs point out, that the foot that made the print, normally wears shoes.

Yep…. ordinary size for sure. Maybe toe shoes indeed.
