The photo was taken in 1989, along the banks of the Narrow Guage railway, that runs between Silverton and Durango, in southern Colorado.

I wish I had the original image to analyze. I tried with this one but resizing it is of little use because of the pixelation.

Just not enough there for me to do anything with.

    Pixel Squatch!

  2. dconstrukt responds:

    LOL!! cmon man.

anyone with half a brain can see its a guy in a jacket.

  3. Fhqwhgads responds:

It looks a lot like a guy in a hoodie carrying something like a duffle bag, or maybe a rifle or shotgun in a sleeve.

  4. Goodfoot responds:

Fhqwhgads: You may be onto something. I certainly think it explains that black mass that extents frontward and backward, but doesn’t it seem to be being carried a little high, almost at waist level? Who carries a duffel bag that way? Generally, one would carry it where one’s fingers end, with the arm extended fully.

I’d also like to point out that that’s a very human angle of the lower leg. However, It’s a very unusual image.

Silverton has its own Bigfoot Museum? Silverton, at 9318 feet elevation, lies between two high passes, and the passes become impassable a few times every winter. It has a +/- 500 population, out of San Juan County’s 699 residents. Possibly because it is America’s highest county. It has a BIGFOOT M– USEUM? Where, a broom closet in the county courthouse?

Lovely town, although the last possible frost date is July 1.

    Guy doing some fly fishing.

  6. AAU responds:

I had a very bizarre experience while solo camping in this very area in the San Juans in 2013. Absolutely terrifying! I’ll never camp in this area again alone.
