Amazing Bigfoot Footage

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on July 24th, 2013

The footage in this video was submitted to us. It doesn’t look bad but we’ll have more feedback after we head out there ourselves and investigate.

FYI: This video was captured by a child, who claims she thought she was filming a bear. She stated that the picture on her small LCD screen is difficult to see daylight/outdoors, so she held the camera up and aimed in the direction of the breaking branches and hit the deck when she saw that it was walking upright and getting so close.

Is it a hoax? As far as LB is concerned, it’s always a hoax. We have T-Rex bones! We found the “extinct” Coelacanth 2,000 feet deep! Not 1 Sasquatch…LegendsBeware

I found it somewhat less than “amazing”…

  2. mijbil9 responds:

    chupacabra……………………..Next ! ) :

  3. emerbes responds:

I’m going to go with it being fake. It just seems so set up, I mean why would a child be alone in the woods in the first place? And also if I was a child alone in the woods and I saw what I thought was a bear, I’d be getting out of there as fast as I could, I wouldn’t try to record it on video.

  4. dconstrukt responds:

LOL … wait for it…. ANOTHER jabroni hoax.

    1. these things are supposed to be like 7-9ft tall and 400+ lbs. yet you really don’t hear this thing making much noise.

If you are 2-4x the weight of a normal human, and you were moving like this thing, you’d be making much more noise as you move. its impossible not to

    2. 42 seconds in you see the ‘thing’ duck and turn… it appears to be a guy in a guile suit.

    3. 1:55 the “guy in a guile suit” walks right by the camera.

    guy in a suit.

    cmon.

    this is the nonsense proof?

  5. cryptokellie responds:

Lets start with the fact that the upright very Bigfootish image that is displayed on the screen before you play the video is not from this sequence…nowhere in this clip is this relatively clear image to be found. That is flag one.

The video follows the classic hoax video scenario to the letter with obscured figure rummaging around in the heavy brush and never coming into full view. That is flag two.

The camera work is classic hoax cinematography, instead of trying to keep focused on the supposed Bigfoot, we’re panning around – looking up into trees and doing just about the opposite of what you need to do to obtain a better look. That is flag three.

Also, there is an audio track with this clip where we hear the obligatory twig and branch snapping noises but, no audio from the “child” that is filming a Bigfoot at less than 30 yards? No way…

Although the child’s age is not given, children today have a full vocabulary of adjectives that I didn’t even know existed back in the 1950s. Surely some comment or mutterings would be voiced if a child or adult were filming this, not to mention a full blown outburst of Holy S..t or WTF is that?…upon encountering a real Bigfoot.

Clearly a hoax/prank video or the “child” would have peed his/her pants and uttered a few “colorful metaphors” as Mr. Spock used to say and then beat it the hell out of there.

  6. Stadtusquo responds:

Nice video… screams of hoax to me. A child is filming this is is not freaked out??? No heavy breathing from being scared???

Wishing it is real, but doubt it is a Bigfoot. Next…

  7. semillama responds:

This is not the right video. This is the “Georgia Birdwatching” video from earlier this year that was previously posted here on Cryptomundo, not a child filming a supposed bear. Is there a different video that we are supposed to be looking at?

I will say that the location is likely correct from the birds calling in the background!

  8. PhotoExpert responds:

My opinion is the same as cryptokellie and dconstrukt. What they said!

  9. johnp3907 responds:

    Legends BS, more like.

  10. alan borky responds:

So this was taken by a kid Craig?

When I used to go walkies with me own kids through any kind of wooded area a great deal of the time’d be spent analysing any strange intense smells they’d detect.

Yet here we have a kid a few feet from what’s said to be one of the most evilly honkiferously overpoweringly smelly bastards on the face of God’s earth and the kid a girl’s nose doesn’t notice a thing?

Then again maybe as these beings lose their effortless muscular grace and astonishing dimensions they compensate by improving their personal hygiene.

  11. Goodfoot responds:

I’m calling you out, ki…. WAIT! Aside from there being nothing to suggest a “9-foot tall” creature, there are some interesting images here, and they just might warrant deeper investigation.

As for incredulity at a kid “being alone in the woods”? C’MON, you mugs! Are you such city slickers you’ve never been out in the woods alone?

You should try it sometime. It’s good for clearing the head. And he may have been there so he didn’t have to CLEAN the head!

  12. Goodfoot responds:

The image at the beginning seems to be a tree. But I see nothing that screams “ghillie suit” here. I can’t rule it out, but we’ve seen our fill of ghillie hoaxes here, and none of them looked like this.

Still, it could be. I wish my new Mac were here so I could see it better. Been out in the woods yet?

  13. DWA responds:

    Amazing? Oh. OK.

There are no red flags in this video.

(Hint to those who insist on misusing the phrase: the guy removing the suit head, grinning and yelling HI MOM! is a red flag.)

The number of yellow flags, however, exceeds the number of hairs on the costume. If that were my kid, I’d make ’em go back out and do it right this time.

  14. Raiderpithicusblaci responds:

Greetings, crypto-crew. I cant say it’s not interesting, or I would not have watched it. But compelling? Not in the least. However, Did anyone check for footprints?

  15. volmar responds:

I have only two questions: Why do people waste their time doing vídeos like that? Why do I waste my time watching them? Hoax!

  16. PoeticsOfBigfoot responds:

Semillama is correct, this isn’t the right video.

  17. mandors responds:

Two red flags right away: 1) The word “amazing” is used in the title. 2) The “cover” or “first” still image of the Bigfoot video is nowhere in the actual footage.

Regardless, kudos to the videographer for following the official blobsquatch filming rules:
“When the figure finally comes into view or focus, immediately turn the camera to the ground or sky.”

    Good job.
