Animal Planet’s ‘Finding Bigfoot’ seeks local (Georgia) tales

Does Bigfoot call southeast Georgia home? The team from Animal Planet’s hit television show “Finding Bigfoot” — starring Matt Moneymaker, Cliff Barackman, James “Bobo” Fay and Ranae Holland — is coming to Savannah to find out.
They want to hear the stories, evaluate the evidence and continue their hunt for the mysterious Sasquatch.
If you want to help the crew in its investigation or if you have had an encounter you can’t explain, email your bigfoot-sighting story to findingbigfoot.georgia@gmail.com.
The crew will evaluate your tale and invite you to share your experience with the cast at their town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 22 in Savannah.
Several participants may be selected to have their encounter recreated on the show.
The event is free, but seating is limited. You must RSVP to the email address above for tickets, which are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
