Deerassic Park Eduction Center to host ‘Bigfoot Lock-In’
A “Bigfoot Lock-In” will be be held at Deerassic Park Education Center July 11-12 (7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.).
Activities will include: Bats and Moths, Nocking, Tracking and Track Casting, Night Hiking, Nocturnal Animals, Orienteering and much more.
Snacks and breakfast will be provided.
The event is recommended for ages 10 to 14, but younger children may attend if a parent or guardian stays on site. Participants should wear appropriate dress and hiking boots. It is recommended they bring a change of clothes and a sleeping bag/blanket.
The cost is $25 with pre-registration required by July 10. Call Deerassic Park at 740-435-9500 to register.
This event is offered in cooperation with Deerassic Park Education Center and The Guernsey Soil and Water Conservation District.
