Lake Worth Monster Shoot
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on July 1st, 2013
Doing a shoot for a cable network “monster” series on the Lake Worth Monster today.
The Lake Worth Monster is the “monster” that started my interest in cryptozoology 44 years ago this month.
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
Pssst, Craig, man, saying it piqued your interest 44 years ago kinda blows your cover on the cool young guy that runs Cryptomundo! I would have left out the number of years thing and left them guessing!
Hi Craig,
I used to go over to the base all the time and pass by the island. Never saw or heard anything odd but I wonder if the monster really likes KFC or Popeye’s better?
The famous Lake Worth Monster photo has always struck me as odd evidence. Looks like a disfigured piece of cotton instead of a upright walking primate.
