Yeah, looking like a costume to me, but you never know. Fingers crossed.

  2. NMRNG responds:

Boundary Waters is in Minnesota, not Michigan.

Probably a dude in a costume

  3. eyeofstrm responds:

NMRNG, is 100% correct. The Boundary Waters are in Northern Minnesota, not Michigan. I camp there with my Australian Shepherds annually. This looks like just another blurry photo of someone in a costume and nothing more. How fucking stupid doe these assholes who try and pull off a hoax think we are? I live less than a mile from the Cleveland Zoo and I have been a member for over 25 years. I visit there constantly solo with my Grandchildren. I know a costume when I see one.

Well, it’s sure been a while since we’ve had ANYTHING like this!

Interesting, there is a UP sighting in BFRO that says the hair was longer on the body than the head. This looks to be the opposite, but that earlier witness said the figure was huge. This one is not, so maybe the longer head fur is a trait of being a juvenile.

And I must say that I have missed the “it’s just a guy in a suit” crowd so much.

The problem is assumption. Assuming this is the Upper Peninsula Michigan, which is middle of nowhere country, you have to then assume they trucked a suit all the way up there just to take three lame pics? Maybe.

Also, assuming it’s a suit, it’s pretty form fitting, except for the head.

    Here’s a kids costume https://www.amazon.com/Big-Boys-Gorilla-Costume-S/dp/B004UUDF44/ref=sr_1_40?ie=UTF8&qid=1536928550&sr=8-40&keywords=bigfoot+costume

I picked it, because it’s sleeves aren’t as baggy as the adult costumes.

Here is a grown up one:https://www.amazon.com/California-Costumes-Sasquatch-Adult-Costume-Standard/dp/B0761JX8BZ/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1536928550&sr=8-11&keywords=bigfoot+costume

The fur looks higher quality in the video then anything I’ve seen on line. But who knows?

The famous boundary waters is in MN, but there are also boundary waters in Michigan, particularly with Wisconsin.

Again, interesting. The entire bigfoot vibe has all but died for a couple of years, so has hoaxing. In fact, I’d say we’ve seen nothing on this site that’s been interesting since the bird’s nest bigfoot. So, it’s kind of a strange time to just hoax, but goofier things have been done.

Sorry mandors, most of the time I spend at the Cleveland Zoo is watching the bears and low land gorillas. The gorilla’s you can get within inches of and observe, by the way, if these things are small compared to a full grown Sasquatch, I can see why they scare the hell out of some people who were blessed enough to see one. That is a costume. The way it reacts to light, the way the hair sticks up on it’s head, plus a few other things I don’t need to get into right now. If you were wondering, yes I do believe North America has an unregistered primate, the only continent in the world without one these really smart scientists tell us. I also visit Salt Fork State Park quite often during the week and do some investigating. I am a believer, it didn’t take me long to see hoax written all over this.

Bear in mind that Homo sapiens is a species distinguished by its cussedness perhaps most of all — see the Piltdown Man for an example. And hey, kids get killed all the time doing things even more stupid in an attempt to go viral. That isn’t proof of a hoax, of course, but the point is that people do in fact sometimes carry out elaborate hoaxes for no obvious reason.
