For more information on the Beast of Bray Road, check out Linda Godfrey’s excellent book on the subject: The Beast of Bray Road: Tailing Wisconsin’s Werewolf.

It’s curious that you describe it as a “bear-like creature” when most of the accounts that Linda Godfrey describes refer to it as a bipedal wolf.
Craig, it took me over half a dozen attempts to log in before I could post here. This is very typical of what I’ve encountered here over the past several months, using multiple computers. Additionally, over the past week the damn ad near the bottom of the page has been covering the “see older posts” button rendering it impossible to go back to see older posts. I’d e-mail or PM you but that doesn’t seem to be an option here (if there is a way to do so, please e-mail me and let me know). Have you contacted your webmaster/web host and complained about any of these problems? Honestly, this is one of the most problematic websites I’ve ever visited.
NMRNG, the episode notes from SyFy is where the “bear-like creature” description comes from.
I am currently working on a complete redesign of the website. The site is based on WordPress and I have no idea what may be causing the login issues.
