I am so pleased that ZooBank accepted our name. I didn’t even know that they had! Homo sapiens cognatus. Our blood relatives!Melba Ketchum
About Craig Woolheater

OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
Congratulations, Dr. Ketchum! In my book, you are one of the leading scientists of this millenium, and I will not be surprised when you win your Nobel prize. A word of warning, though, according to the National Cancer Institute and private sources (Zhang et al, 2008), there may be a link between hair dye and cancer, although there have been conflicting studies. You might want to look into this pressing health topic- think of all the lives that could be saved if a first-class scientist like yourself took on the challenge.
She names it; she announces the acceptance of the name.
(She didn’t even KNOW. Sakes alive!)
She goes habituatin’ and tells us all how FUUUUN it is …and gets nothing to back up the genetic analysis.
She sets up a journal and puts in its first article – “confirming” her “find.”
Promise. Nothing about this smells to me at all. Nothing. Promise.
How about; Magnuspes valde incertus…
Virtually meaningless news.
According to ZooBank, “The registration of Type Specimens is considered provisional and is not yet fully implemented in ZooBank.” In otherwords, fill out the paperwork, follow the set procedures and voila a provisional registration is granted.
Let’s all wait until Sykes announces the results of his Bigfoot studies.
I can’t wait until Groucho makes his entrance!
