Chupacabra Island

Posted by: Nick Redfern on May 17th, 2015

As I mentioned here a few days ago, my book “Chupacabra Road Trip” will be published in September. But, in the meantime, here is a new show I was filmed for on Puerto Rico looking for the Chupacabra. The title: “Mysteries at the National Park.” I can’t remember how many trips I’ve been on to Puerto Rico looking for the Chupa (about a dozen now), but this is the newest, filmed about a year ago. I wouldn’t mind moving there one day, as it’s a very cool place.

Mysteries At The National Parks – S01E03 – Chupacabra Island – Full Episode

The fabled chupacabra, which many believe lives in Puerto Rico’s El Yunque National Forest, is linked to various UFO sightings and a secret US government research facility in the area.

One Response to “Chupacabra Island”

  1. Goodfoot responds:

Many thanks, Nick. El Chupcabra is one of my areas of interest.

I will note that Chupacabras witnesses in Argentina have expressed belief that NASA is involved with Chupacabras, having seen vans with NASA logos in the wake of Chupacabras flaps. This has resonance with me, and the widely-held belief that the US government has involvement in this phenomenon.

I find it interesting that Chupa sightings nearly exclusively occur in Latino, Roman Catholic-dominant countries. The perpetrators may have designed this, since local superstitions may be dismissed out of hand. A perfect cover, if you will.
