Benjamin Radford, M.Ed., is a scientific paranormal investigator, a research fellow at the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, and deputy editor of the Skeptical Inquirer. He has authored, coauthored, or contributed to twenty books and written over a thousand articles and columns on a wide variety of topics including skepticism, critical thinking, science literacy, media literacy, urban legends, unexplained mysteries, the paranormal, and mass hysteria. Radford characterizes himself as one of the world’s few science-based paranormal investigators, and has done first-hand research into such subjects as psychics, ghosts, exorcisms, miracles, Bigfoot, stigmata, lake monsters, UFO sightings, reincarnation, crop circles, and many other topics. Radford is also a columnist for Discovery News and LiveScience.com.
