…Charles Flood claimed to have had a close-range sighting of a sasquatch in 1915, along with friends Donald McRae and Green Hicks (although McRae thought it to be a bear). In some respects, their encounter became well-known within the sasquatch research community—often being cited in books and magazine articles.

Sometime in 1957 or 1958 (most likely autumn 1957), radio personality Jack Webster interviewed William Roe. As many know, Roe reported an extended and close sighting of a female sasquatch in October of 1955 on Mica Mountain (in British Columbia).

A family of four in Oregon published footage of “Bigfoot” captured this past Saturday.

Mark and two friends were camping at Bexhill when just after dusk they were confronted by a 7-8ft Yowie standing 20-30m outside the front of their tent.
They stood there frozen until the creature walked passed the tent and one of the boys let a shotgun blast off in fear, through the side of the tent.

Wood Knocks Volume One: Journal of Sasquatch Research is, as the title suggests, the first in an ongoing series of books on the Bigfoot controversy. Published by David Weatherly’s Leprechaun Press, and with excellent cover artwork from Sam Shearon, the book is a collection of papers on a wide variety of Bigfoot-themed issues.
