Hitch Hikers Stalked by Yowie

Errol and his friend were hitch hiking North along the Pacific Hwy between Ballina and Bangalow late at night.

Suddenly they hear bipedal footsteps following them and walking in unison with their steps. Scared, they stop and listen. The creature walks ahead before walking out onto the road in front of them.

Camper Harassed by Six or Seven Yowies

In the middle of the night near a remote camping area deep in the mountains of the Barrington Tops, the camper witnesses up to 7 Yowies as she watches through the mesh of her tent. The large Yowies seem to be play fighting, while the younger ones throw rocks at the ground.

This encounter lasted 15 minutes before they returned to the tree line and disappeared.

Yowie Sighting at Stennifer, near Inverell, New South Wales

While prospecting for Gems in bushland, two men smell a foul odour and hear something near their car, yet nothing can be seen.

As they were leaving the site, driving towards Inverell, they both witness a 7-8ft Yowie standing on the side of the road. The creature turns and looks at the oncoming car before running into the bush at great speed. It can still be seen running through the sparse trees for some time as they slowed to watch it.
