Thursday, June 25th: 6-8pm Wadsworth Public Library speaking presentation titled “Minerva Monster: Bigfoot Encounters in Ohio”
Join us this week at the Wadsworth Public Library as we deliver a presentation called “Minerva Monster: Bigfoot Encounters Around Ohio”. We’ll be talking about the Minerva case (as well as some behind the scenes info), Bigfoot sightings around the state, and Seth will be delving into the local “River Styx Monster”.

It’s one thing to see a really cool movie; it’s another thing when that movie is produced by your friends. That was the situation we encountered on on June 6, 2015, which was designated Minerva Monster Day in Minerva, Ohio, and most of the town turned out to see it!

On June 6th the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an event to herald the release of the film in downtown Minerva. Free screenings of the film will take place at the historic Roxy Theatre.

After months of build-up the Minerva Monster documentary is now available on DVD, Blu-Ray and internet streaming services. Orders can be placed through GrassmanGear.com and digitally screened at Vimeo.com. On June 6th the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an event to herald the release of the film in downtown Minerva. Free screenings of the film will take place at the historic Roxy Theatre.
“In August of 1978 a small town in eastern Ohio was thrust into the spotlight when a local family sighted a “monster” in the woods behind their home. Over subsequent evenings they were repeatedly visited by the creature culminating in a late-night encounter that ended in local police being called in. The story blasted onto the front pages of newspapers across the state and into the consciousness of a nation.”
