There’s really no way to easily sum up what happened to the residents of Point Pleasant, West Virginia starting in 1966 and ending about a year later with over forty of them dead. This lengthy film (the main feature alone is over two hours and the extras are long enough to make sure your evening is utilized to the fullest extent) looks at all the various theories, though, and it does a spectacular job.

Henry Bauer has something in common with me, and most probably with you — he’s never seen the Loch Ness Monster.
In his case, however, it isn’t from lack of trying. The Virginia Tech science professor emeritus has made a number of trips to Scotland hoping to catch a glimpse of the world’s most elusive aquatic beast, only to be disappointed. But not disheartened.

A 55 feet long fish has been found in the seashore of Guangdong, China.
According to a local newspaper, the big fish weighs at least 10,000 pounds.

Without doubt, one of the strangest aspects of cryptozoology, is it’s tie-in with the Crop Circle mystery. Although it’s a little-known aspect of both phenomena, more than a few accounts exist of strange creatures seen in and around Crop Circles.
