The Sasquatch didn’t like it when explorers in the Sam Houston National Forest drew too near him last week, and in his fury he hurled giant logs at the curious humans.

Tonight our guests will be the husband and wife research team of Bob and Kathy Strain. Bob is a retired firefighter/paramedic who has been researching Bigfoot since 1975 when he had an encounter himself near Challis, Idaho. He is also an avid outdoorsman with many years’ experience hunting, fishing, and hiking. And he hosted his own podcast named Let’s Talk Bigfoot. Kathy is the Heritage Resource and Tribal Relations Programs Manager for the Stanislaus National Forest in Sonora, CA.

Tonight we will be giving a recap of our trip to east Texas and the Sam Houston National forest. Bob Garrett was kind enough to take us out to a few of the areas. The whole time we had non stop rain and flooding but we did have a couple of encounters, lots of audio and video. I will be releasing this through the week.

He lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. His interest in this animal began in 1963 when, as a third year student in wildlife management at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, he was laughed at for raising the report of an animal described as an “ape-man” for possible discussion.
