Willow Creek Scores Distribution Deal

Great news! Bobcat Goldthwait’s Bigfoot thriller Willow Creek has scored a distribution deal and will have a spring 2014 theatrical release!

After seeing the film on June 9th as part of the 2013 Oak Cliff Film Festival, I told Bobcat that Willow Creek was the “Best f@#king Bigfoot movie ever, and Bigfoot wasn’t even shown!”

“I took a Bigfoot vacation,” Goldthwait said, with no trace of irony. “I actually put 1,400 miles on my car just driving around to all the famous Bigfoot sites in California. And when I got to [the community of] Willow Creek, I was kind of thinking of a different movie. But when I got to WIllow Creek, this just seemed to be the movie to make because of the people I met there. And I found the town very interesting.

Willow Creek is funny, suspenseful, scary, and altogether entertaining – something that is sorely lacking in most “bigfoot” films. In fact, I dare say Willow Creek is the best bigfoot film I’ve ever seen, save The Legend of Boggy Creek. (You knew I’d say that, right?).

You have to get yourself to Dallas and find a place to crash while here. But you will get to go to dinner with the Cryptomundo crew before the screening, hang with us at the screening, and possibly get to meet Bobcat Goldtwait.
