  1. Asphalt Prophet responds:

They should have zoomed in on the girl. Cause it is definitely not a bigfoot.

  2. Mibs responds:

Interesting footage. My only suspicion for me is what appears to be running shoes/trainers being worn by the dark humanoid figure.

  3. Hambone responds:

The guy that is swatting at the invisible bug is actually flagging the runner/skinny bigfoot to go.

  4. TimmyRyan65 responds:

If you slow down on Frame 34-36 you can definitely see a running sneaker (even looks like a converse) on the left foot.

  5. TimmyRyan65 responds:

Even upon closer inspection I think it is someone jogging wearing a hoodie and converse sneakers.

  6. red_pill_junkie responds:

    At first I was uncertain.

    Now I’m convinced it’s fake.

  7. sasquatch responds:

Nope, frame 35-that’s a blade of grass way in front of the subject that gives the foot the appearance of a Chuck Taylor Converse All-Star. It’s just leaning over enough to line up that way.
The kid swatting a bug could be a signal…but why be so obvious?
That actually makes me think it’s more real.
I agree that the creature looks a bit thin-but it could be a juvenile.
Also the legs staying bent is very Sasquatchie, but someone could have practiced that if they were trying to fake a bigfoot video.
It is an interesting piece of footage…

  8. PikeBigfoot responds:

I’m sorry but I just can’t buy it. My family and I go hiking in the forest all the time and keep aware of our surroundings, not necessarily for Bigfoot, but for bear, mountain lion, deer, etc. And something running that close is sure as hell going to make a lot of noise and not go unnoticed. That right there screams fake to me.

  9. mandors responds:

The head is too large for the body. It looks human in proportion. The posture looked back too. A bigfoot with scoliosis?

  10. Weezy responds:

It just looks like a person to me, and not even necessarily in a costume, just a person. It doesn’t look huge or out of the ordinary, just like a human, maybe running.

  11. jerrywayne responds:

    Not Bigfoot (Giganto).
    Not Neanderthal.
    Not Homo Erectus.
    Not Ameranthropoides loysi

    Maybe — a satyr!

    Or maybe not.

  12. NWesterner responds:

First question I have is why in the world is someone filming that scene. Most of the time when people use camcorders, they like to see their friends/loved ones/family members freakin’ faces. They don’t usually film their backs. At least in the other recent bigfoot hoax video up in Alaska the guy had a good excuse and said he noticed the bigfoot so started filming. Second, the “bigfoot” seems human sized, slim, and taking a jog. To me it looks like an obvious and cheap suit, with instructions to run quickly by so as not to notice how shabby the suit really is.

I’m not a close minded skeptic, I’ve seen two videos of bigfoot that I think are genuine, and tons of fakes. It makes sense to me that it would be exceedingly rare to catch bigfoot on film for varied and multiple reasons, so I think its appropriate to approach all videos with caution because they most likely are hoaxes and from the vast majority I’ve seen its pretty obvious.

  13. whipthorn responds:

The area of town it’s filmed in is highly suspicious to me. Click here for a satellite map image.

The park is along a lot of walking trails (I was on them in April for a local charity walk) and a decent population of walkers during the spring and summer months. It’s also near an active university and golf course. There are some woodlands to the west, but the cover is sparse, and it’s also populated. To the north and east are heavy residential areas and main arterials.

It seems highly unlikely that a Sasquatch would venture so far into trafficked areas without a reason. And given the terrain, and area it was sighted in, there doesn’t seem to be a reason, unless it was returning a movie rental or traveling the centennial trail to say hi to the walkers.

As I’ve said on the other post, it is suspicious that it would be in that area so close to regular human activity and not get spotted on a regular basis. I think the video taker is genuine in the sighting, but I think the sighting was just of a local walker or jogger.

  14. dermal_ridges_are_proof responds:

It’s what I’d call a Jogsquatch, a couple of notches up from a blobsquatch, and hence a couple of notches more intriguing!

If it’s a hoax, then it’s not quite the usual fare; instead it’s a deception perpetrated with some subtlety of approach; underplayed by those unassuming hikers in the foreground; seemingly oblivious to the lithe ’round shouldered’ ape man sprinting off to somewhere (I’ll spare you my high fibre diet theory at this point)! …and all back-lit and rather nice!

The most telling and bizarre aspect to the way this video unfolds is that these hikers are totally unaware, as if all their senses are dulled down beyond belief, they didn’t even catch sight of the figure from their (collective) peripheral vision either, or hear what was probably a noisy rush through the undergrowth in the near to middle distance.

A recreational walk in the woods is for the most part about experiencing the joy of nature all senses switched on to take everything in; birds foraging, rodents rustling, squirrels scurrying hither & thither, a fox on the path or on the skyline, deer here and there, the snap of a twig!… …my point is that if something obvious happens to alert at least one of the five senses and is relatively large (in this case) and quite near, it would be virtually impossible to miss it in its entirety: ..you know; if you don’t see it, then you might at least hear something and vice versa. This supposition based on my own experience out walking in the woods, is where my doubts lie.

However I wouldn’t criticise the figure for being too slim; the Patty template as a default profile for ALL Sasquatch can surely be discarded. Just look at the different shapes & sizes people come in! …and aren’t youngsters lighter on their feet, have higher metabolic rates and a predisposition towards natural athleticism compared to their elder brethren (relative plodders)?

As a case in point; if you believe the Jacobs creature photos to be genuine then you know you’re looking at a juvenile sasquatch. …a relative lightweight!

    Just thoughts really…

  15. dermal_ridges_are_proof responds:

Ive just read ‘Whipthorns ‘ comments; he nails it for me! (in terms of probability)

    That’s very useful background info!

Now no longer a conundrum it’s very easy to see why those intrepid hikers didn’t bat an eyelid at the jogger running across their path escaping from nearby suburbia !!! Who would?

No dermal ridges, just Nike ridges!…..BooHoo!

  16. zpf responds:

I agree, if it was filmed around Spokane, it’s silly to conceive of a bigfoot being there. Unless it escaped from the zoo or something.

  17. cormac responds:

dermal ridges — interesting but i thought the opposite … seeing the hikers going down an incline and looking down for their footing i thought that this might be why people MISS sasquatch running by lol … i understand your angle tho but making your way thru an area without a path i think you’d be more inclined to look down and perhaps the noise you’re making ‘tramping’ thru the woods could cover other noise you’re not concerned with .. (the royal ‘you’, don’t mean you personally of course 🙂 )

but yeah, all in all looks like a bogus video … and nice link with the GPS whipthorn … doesn’t look too much like a bigfoot hangout 😉 …

i think the ‘hooded hunched guy’ is the way it looks … there’s just a different look to a biped ‘hunching’ forward to make himself look more ape-like and the natural ‘hunching’ of an ape-type … i don’t know what it is exactly but it’s just the look of the effort to hold oneself in that ‘unnatural’ manner …
