Willow Creek – Don’t Miss It!

Posted by: Nick Redfern on June 12th, 2013

“…Everything begins in bright, breezy, and light-hearted fashion. We see the pair visiting various Bigfoot-themed exhibits, stores, and little towns where all-things of a Bigfoot nature dominate. But, it’s when the pair leave civilization behind and head deep into the woods that the light-hearted atmosphere disappears and an air of tension quickly grips them…”

Stop the Science! It’s Bad for Business!

Posted by: Steve Plambeck on June 12th, 2013

Known hoaxer George Edwards apparently believes so.  Edwards is the long time owner and operator of Loch Ness Cruises, and skipper of the tourist boat Nessie Hunter.  He is also infamous for having made a side career out of faking photographic evidence to sell to gullible tourists, and inventing the non-existent geological feature Edwards Deep, […]

Speaking of: Where are the Sasquatch Snow Tracks?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on June 11th, 2013

Jim_Carter's_Run

…Carter evidently took off down the mountain in a wild, death-defying dash, “taking chances that no skier of his caliber would take, unless something was terribly wrong or he was being pursued,” says Lee, who was one of the first searchers to reach Carter’s ski tracks.

“He jumped over two or three large crevasses and evidently was going like the devil.” When Carter’s tracks reached the precipitous sides of Ape Canyon, the searchers were amazed to see that Carter had been in such a hurry that he went right down the steep canyon walls. But they did not find him at the bottom of the canyon as they expected.

Willow Creek Does Dallas

Willow Creek is funny, suspenseful, scary, and altogether entertaining – something that is sorely lacking in most “bigfoot” films. In fact, I dare say Willow Creek is the best bigfoot film I’ve ever seen, save The Legend of Boggy Creek. (You knew I’d say that, right?).

Where are the Sasquatch Snow Tracks?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on June 9th, 2013

Why are there virtually no sasquatch prints found in winter and for that matter, why has no one ever been able to track a sasquatch in the winter time, in the snow, and capture it on film, or capture it physically?

Down through the centuries, several remarkable, unique species of mammal have become extinct on various West Indian islands in the Caribbean. One of these was a truly mysterious monkey, which may have survived into much more recent times than currently confirmed by science. “Today, some monkey species inhabit Jamaica, but none of them is native; […]

Fouke’s Monster Mart Makes Big Changes

Posted by: Lyle Blackburn on June 6th, 2013

When I started researching for my book, The Beast of Boggy Creek, the first place I visited was the Monster Mart in Fouke, Arkansas. At the time, the Monster Mart was an unassuming little convenience store that only hinted at the town’s big legend. The outside of the store did have a small mural of the creature (made famous by the movie The Legend of Boggy Creek), but the inside merely offered a cheerless curio case and a few old newspaper clippings tacked to bulletin board near the front door. It was better than nothing, but all in all, a rather disappointing display of memorabilia and crude merchandise that, to me, seemed unworthy of the town’s intriguing history.

Since the release of my book, however, there have been some major changes which have elevated the historical recognition of the legend and the curb appeal of the Monster Mart itself.
