What we do know is the erasing of Sylvanic and Todd Standing has not been an accident, meaning the domain has not expired. Sylvanic.com does not expire until November 9th of this year. The site is down because Todd Standing wanted it down. The You Tube videos are unavailable because Todd made them to be unavailable.

Todd Standing is making big claims once again, including photographic evidence.
John Kirk, fellow Cryptomundo blogger, president of the BCSCC and good Canadian citizen is checking into these claims and will be reporting back to Cryptomundo.

I have been challenged and badgered to respond to the criticisms aimed at Todd Standings images. So today I set things aside and wrote a quick and dirty response to Falconer and Poling report. I still have not drawn a conclusion myself, but I am certainly not convinced by their arguments that these are definitely hoaxed. I continue to be dismayed by the tenuous arguments and baseless certitude by so many on this. A lot more work needs to be done.
Let me reiterate — neither my visit to Nordegg for a few days, nor my co-hosting, what I thought turned out to be a very interesting radio show, constitute an endorsement of everything else that Todd has done. I am still considering the evidence.

Preface: Applying reasoned examination based on their respective fields of expertise, Phil Poling (formally trained in photography and with a twenty year law enforcement background) and Daniel Falconer (seventeen year working for special effects company and writer of numerous books on film special effects) have come together to analyse Todd Standing’s claimed bigfoot videos. TV Show, Finding Bigfoot, gives Todd Standing some free press. He still claims to have ten seconds of video that proves bigfoot.

No no, we don’t (won’t) defend him, but somebody wrote Bigfoot Lunch Club a letter trying to defend portions of Todd Standings research/evidence. Let us know what you think, have we been too hard on Todd?

Although just posted today (01-29-11) on You Tube, this 2007 follow-up video to his coast to coast interview is a nice presentation to the Giganto theory. He uses the panda’s reliance on bamboo as an analogue for why Giganto would have to find other food sources.
