American Branch of the International Center of Hominology

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on April 22nd, 2013

Melba Ketchum announced the following on her facebook page:

We several persons, supporters of the idea of protecting Forest People, cooperating with Dr. Igor Burtsev, head of the International Center of Hominology, are intending (or starting?) to set up an American Branch of the International Center of Hominology as a joint undertaking, with an Office in the U.S.A., to hold our activities in North America more effectively and help more efficiently in the preservation of the Forest People. For doing this we need for beginning about $30 thousand to get an office and other facilities. To start such affair and get the starting sum Dr. Burtsev is ready to give us (or supply us?) two historical films on the subject us to pawn (pledge) or even to sell them to get the sum we need or a part of it. Those films each one by approximate for 10 minutes brought to Russia by Rene Dahinden in December 1971 and left to Igor for the financial assistance given him for his trip and for arranging it. Both are the first copies of the Ektachrome films, made with using of the first copies of Patterson films, and they are second generation copies.

One is the Patterson Patty footage’s copy with several stop stills and slow motion of the creature in it – since its beginning to the end.

Another one shows how P&G are moving horseback to the film site and after how they see the footprints, make the casts of them and show the casts themselves.

This film also shows Jim MacClarin walking along Patty’s way on the film site.

These are of good quality, they were just projected several times thru the film projector while showing together with Rene to the specialists for investigation..

  3. DWA responds:

    An even better idea?

That all the folks claiming to have a scientific angle on this question pool efforts and stop making the field look like a rats’ nest of dueling agendas.

Just a thought to chew on there.

Got a bone to pick with Meldrum? NAWAC? Bindernagel?

    What’s your evidence?

    That’s how this works.

  4. corrick responds:

So, DWA, how big a check are you writing to the American Branch of the International Center of Hominology? That certainly would constitute “evidence” for your defense of Ketchum and her claims.

  5. corrick responds:

My apologies, DWA, that was a bit harsh.

  6. edsbigfoot responds:

Don’t know if these are of any interest or who the Phd folks are, but thought I should send them on, they are from Dr. Ketchum’s FB page from this week. I googled both the names, Dr. Hart and Dr. Chrisman, I couldn’t find anything, so I don’t know what their specialties are as related to the DNA studies….

1:This is Robin Lynne writing with a update:

“This is a direct “quote” from Dr. Hascall Hart

    1. The mtDNA of 29 samples is essentially human.

    2. The nDNA of three samples (26, 31,and 140) has homology to human nDNA on chromosome 11, but is not entirely human.

    3. The nDNA of three samples(26, 31, and 140) is not related to black bear, raccoon or opossum.”

Yet another supporter of Dr. Melba Ketchum

“I fully support Dr. Ketchum and her research and appreciate having the research and data. I make a point of stating the scientific methodology was very sound and all necessary precautions were taken.
    T. Joy Clay Chrisman, Ph.D., PMP”

  7. corrick responds:

Joy Clay Chrisman has a PHD from Tennessee State University in Public Administration and is an active investigator for the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization.

“Dr.” Haskell Hart is a frequent supporter of Ketchem in blogs and claims to be a physical chemist. A google search reveals absolutely nothing as to his academic credentials or background.

  8. DWA responds:

I think evidence would show anyone interested that were Ketchum looking for a dollar to help defend her claims, my vicinity might be somewhere in contention for last place in North America, if not the world, for her to look.

  9. corrick responds:

DWA, good to see a sense of humor about it. And be warned, you’ll have to battle me for last place.
