How To Tell If Bigfoot Poop Is Fake

Todd Disotell gets caught doing Bigfoot’s nails
Plenty of leads sent here to HuffPost Weird News turn out to hoaxes, but nobody deals with more crap than Todd Disotell.
In fact, the NYU anthropology professor — and star of Spike TV’s “Ten Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty” — gets sent a lot of poop. He analyzes samples from both hoaxers and hopefuls who think they may have found evidence of Bigfoot’s existence.
Disotell’s students learn how to use the university’s molecular primatology lab by studying those samples — which may include hair and feces — and determining that they do not, in fact, belong to an unknown mythical creature.
Disotell has a lot to say about those samples, and luckily, you can hear for yourself!

Sad to hear this and the conceit of the participants !
They don’t get it. There is a hugh ongoing mystery, smart honest people have seen bigfoot on the one hand and on the other no conclusive evidence has been recognised. There is an anomaly and any good science ought to deal with this. Huffington Host jeering is an abomination and they need to take the matter seriously and show some intelligence. They should consider their readership may of whome must see things differently and reasonably so.
Genuflecting to Todd Disotell and accepting his authority is not a substitute for real science nor concentrating on known and blatant hoaxes. If Todd would actualy do the best science possible on this issue it would be great !
Something very special is clearly called for. There are two particular problems one is that hair doesn’t always contain DNA likely in the case of bigfoot and bigfoot is certainly a predator so would be swamped with animal hairs of all kinds. Disotell himself says he just does routine analysis on bigfoot samples nothing special, ditto Sykes bear samples doesn’t cut the mustard.
The problem used to be that even if bigfoot DNA was discovered it would be valuless but now that has all changed and the value of DNA is recognised. My feeling is that Todd Disotell is in the way because of his scepticism which has mellowed somewhat but he is still seen as the utmost authority. But he does get samples so there is still a chance
My opinion is that science is failing to come up with a plausible explanation for the bigfoot phenomenom.
