Regarding Lizard Man Captured on Camera Phone!
Posted by: Lyle Blackburn on August 5th, 2015
The tale of the Bishopville Lizard Man has had its ups and downs over the years, ranging between credible eyewitness accounts to silly news reports.
The photo included in the recent ABC news article is one such low point, as it appears to be some sort of costume or miniature model rather than a real creature.
The accompanying video is more ambiguous since it’s difficult to make out anything more than a shadowy figure, but when taking into consideration the short length of the clip and the “right place at the right time” circumstance, I have my doubts as to its credibility.
For the complete history of the Bishopville Lizard Man case, refer to my book “Lizard Man: The True Story of the Bishopville Monster” published by Anomalist Books.

The photo itself: it can’t be legit…and I’ll tell you why.
Watch any animal in nature. They are all built to maximize movement over terrain in order to obtain food and avoid predators. This thing does not even look close to moving fluidly or agile-ly 🙂 It looks like either: a dude in a suit, an internet creation or a Gorn (I’ve got my nerd on). Either way, it’s not a naturally driven creation of nature (and don’t go off on me about ET or any of that nonsense).
Bottom line–it’s monkey business…or in this case, liz-biz.
