Word of another new Bigfoot movie has arrived: Sasquatch Assault. I’m not really interested in writing about it until I see more about the specifics of the cryptid. Anyway, there’s a perfectly good Michael Gingold item that’s already been written about what is known about it at Fangoria. Oh, I’ll share this; the talking point […]

I have a feeling that the promotion of Water Horse in Japan is being handled much differently than it was in the USA, where the creature was treated as if it could be your bathtub pet. Here is video of the amazing hologram that was recently created off Tokyo to acknowledge the release of the […]

In his December 30, 2007 column, Maine film critic Marty Meltz gives three and a half stars out a possible four to the new movie about the Loch Ness Monster. Here are the highlights from that review: In this, my farewell column for the Maine Sunday Telegram at the end of 30 years, it is […]

What are the critics saying about the new cryptofiction film about the Loch Ness Monster? Here are some snippets from a few reviews of The Water Horse. (Click on the hyperlinks to read the complete reviews.) It is really difficult to tell if the reviewers are enjoying the movie. For most of us here, we’ll […]

I’m returning to New York to talk about Abominable Snowmen, Tom Slick, and telepathy between humans and Yetis. That’s right. I am barely back from the Big Apple, and I’m going back to introduce a favorite movie of mine during another museum’s new opening. I hope meet some of the people that missed my talk […]
