Our team of investigators head into alien territory and risk close encounters to find answers about his mysterious disappearance. I’m sorry to announce that Missing in Alaska has been removed from the History Channel schedule for this evening. Admittedly, I’m not sure precisely what that means and those decisions are obviously way above my head.

We used the name Hairy Man, because that is what most of the Natives up there refer to it as. Tribal names include Arulataq, Gagitt, Kushtaka, Nant’ina, Tornit and Urayuli. Some descriptions have estimated 15′ in height, though that is the exception, rather than the norm.

Bigfoot: it’s a controversy-filled word that is instantly recognizable to just about one and all. And, regardless of whether one is a true believer, an open-minded skeptic, a definitive non-believer, or a semi-interested observer of the controversy, pretty much everyone knows what the word implies and describes: a large, hair-covered, ape-style animal that is said to roam, and lurk within, the mysterious, forested wilds of the United States.
