Posted by: John Kirk on May 20th, 2011

A call to arms for Cryptomundians. I suggest readers write to Discovery Channel and tell them to show as much of the footage as they have and to show the original enhancements made by the guy who shot the footage. Come on people get typing.

Update: Alaska Cadborosaurus Footage

Posted by: John Kirk on May 13th, 2011

One of your writers (staff) or perhaps it was a Guest-Writer Source,on your site said, Discovery Channel’s “The Deadlist Catch” would broadcast film on the existence of Cadborosauras on March 18, 2011. As, far as I know, this film hasn’t aired. Do you have any idea as to when it will be aired & why the delay?

I would think the News Media around the world, as well as, the scientific community would be anxious to show this new proof of the existence of a living, marine dinosaur.stickyum

Monstrum!

Posted by: Nick Redfern on May 9th, 2011

Monstrum!

Originally published more than twenty-years ago, Monstrum! A Wizard’s Tale is a book that, if you didn’t read it first time around, you most definitely should now. Why? Penned by the legendary Tony “Doc” Shiels – truly a phenomenon as much as a man – it’s one of those books that should not just be carefully devoured by cryptozoologists everywhere, but also by ufologists, ghost-hunters, and just about anyone and everyone with more than a passing interest in what has come to be known as Forteana.

Henry Bauer: In Search of Nessie

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on May 4th, 2011

Henry Bauer has something in common with me, and most probably with you — he’s never seen the Loch Ness Monster.

In his case, however, it isn’t from lack of trying. The Virginia Tech science professor emeritus has made a number of trips to Scotland hoping to catch a glimpse of the world’s most elusive aquatic beast, only to be disappointed. But not disheartened.

Loch Ness Monster: May 2, 1933

Posted by: Loren Coleman on May 1st, 2011

Although accounts of an aquatic beast living in Scotland’s Loch Ness date back 1,500 years, the modern legend of the Loch Ness Monster is born when a sighting makes local news on May 2, 1933.
