There is no doubt that Australia’s most famous cryptid ape is the Yowie. It resembles Bigfoot in both size and appearance to an incredibly close degree. It stands around seven to ten feet tall and is covered in a thick coat of hair. Far less famous, though no less fascinating than the Yowie, is Australia’s Wakki, also known as the Njmbin, the Junjudee, the Waladherahra, as well as by many other names, depending on the relevant Aborigine tribe that tells of its existence.

Lake Clinch in Polk County has a long history of a monster in its depths. In the 1928 book, “A History of Polk County,” M.F. Hetherington documents tales of a huge creature in Lake Clinch. “The Indians many years ago insisted there was an immense serpent in this lake,” Hetherington wrote. “In 1907 residents of Frostproof declared they had seen the monster, and that it must be 30 feet long.”

Since it was shot in Ontario in September of 2013, Timbergiantbigfoot’s footage has taken a lot of heat from short-sighted detractors. And yet, it shows a genuine Sasquatch and deserves a great deal more recognition. The only way this is not a Sasquatch is if it’s a gorilla. But wait, gorillas aren’t red. Okay, the only way this is not a Sasquatch is if it’s an orangutan and her baby…in an Ontario forest.
