John Kirk III advises that Bob Gimlin will not be in attendance at this event.
From Press Release:
Researchers, Experiencers and fans of sasquatch will be gathering at the Quality Inn in Maple Ridge, BC, located at 21735 Lougheed Highway, to discuss the topic of Sasquatch.
Scheduled to appear and share with the group are two of the grand men of sasquatch history, indeed, two of the famous “Four Horsemen of Sasquatch”, newspaperman and early chronicler of all things pertaining to Sasquatch, Mr. John Green of Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. and Mr. Bob Gimlin, one of the two men, along with Roger Patterson, to acquire the most famous footage of all time, the famed 1967 Patterson/Gimlin Film.
[Editorial Sidenote: Actually, Bob Gimlin is not one of the Four Horsemen of Sasquatchery. The four members of that group are:
John Green
Peter Byrne
Rene Dahinden
Grover Krantz]
Also invited to appear will be noted Sasquatch Researcher, and Wildlife Biologist, Dr. John Bindernagel from Victoria, B.C. Dr. Bindernagel has written extensively on the subject and has published such books as “North America’s Great Ape: The Sasquatch – A Wildlife Biologist Looks at the Continent’s Most Misunderstood Large Mammal” and “The Discovery of the Sasquatch”.
This assembly shall run from 6 to 10 pm on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014. There will be a small charge at the door to help defray the costs of the hall rental and lodging and transportation for the speakers. The presentations will be followed by a general question and answer time and visiting with any and all attending.
