The prints consisted of three sets from three distinct individuals. Two were of the typical Sasquatch type: splayed toes, wide heel and forefoot with the typical mid-tarsal break. The third was of an apparent juvenile and of the same general shape, but perhaps ten inches long by four inches wide from heel to toe, with the splayed toe area slightly wider. The two apparent adults varied in several respects from each other.

Cryptomundians are talking about the upcoming episode of Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot: “Frozen Bigfoot” Premiering Sunday, June 26, 10PM e/p. I have seen comments asking if this episode will be dealing with the “Bigfoot” in a freezer from Georgia in the summer of 2008. I have also seen comments asking if it will be dealing with the Minnesota Iceman.
Both of those assumptions are incorrect from what I can surmise from the preview of this Sunday’s episode airing on Animal Planet.

Long before it became the brand of a search engine, the creature whose uttered cry gave it a name haunted Kentuckians. Daniel Boone told tales of “killing a ten-foot, hairy giant he called a Yahoo,” says John Mack Faragher in a 1992 biography of Boone. The Yahoos are hairy man-like creatures in Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels, one of Boone’s favorite books. Boone and his explorer companions, it should be noted right from the get-go, threw around many of the terms used in that book rather liberally.
