The Mind of Sasquatch

Posted by: Christopher Noël on January 2nd, 2015

Although we cannot study the psychology of Sasquatch directly, we are in good position already to make educated guesses about their mentality based on behavioral analysis.

Skeptics are fond of asking, as though no answer were remotely possible, “HOW could an eight-foot-tall primate exist undiscovered in our backyard?”

GoFundMe Project: Finally, Footage

Posted by: Christopher Noël on December 15th, 2014

As you can tell from my recent video, “Morning Visits,” I was lucky enough last summer to experience regular interaction with a small group of Sasquatch in a ravine here in northern Vermont. I was not lucky enough, however, to catch a glimpse of them. I only knew they were there because of the sounds they made (which were repetitive and distinctive) and the objects they threw toward me. I was able to record hundreds upon hundreds of wood knocks, both by day and in the middle of the night–by far the most ever recorded in any research situation that has been shared with the public.

This coming spring, I will continue gathering audio in order to learn more about them. But I also intend to film at least one of them–the one who was located closest to me every morning, who was not at all shy with his “drumming,” the one I came to call Music Man. It’s clear that he was no more than 200 feet from where I sat, probably less, but he was obscured by thick forest.

The Sasquatch Listening Project 2014: Morning Visits

Word to the wise: If you establish a consistent interaction with a Sasquatch, don’t suddenly sit 50-60 feet closer one morning…

The Sasquatch Listening Project 2014: Return to the Ravine

Posted by: Christopher Noël on August 18th, 2014

The Sasquatch Listening Project aims to learn about the species in the least invasive way possible, through extensive audio recording. Not only is this the least invasive method, it also promises to be the most fruitful, in that Sasquatch will not permit themselves to be videotaped or studied on-site along the lines of anthropological (or even traditional primatological), research.
