Lake Clinch in Polk County has a long history of a monster in its depths. In the 1928 book, “A History of Polk County,” M.F. Hetherington documents tales of a huge creature in Lake Clinch. “The Indians many years ago insisted there was an immense serpent in this lake,” Hetherington wrote. “In 1907 residents of Frostproof declared they had seen the monster, and that it must be 30 feet long.”

Since it was shot in Ontario in September of 2013, Timbergiantbigfoot’s footage has taken a lot of heat from short-sighted detractors. And yet, it shows a genuine Sasquatch and deserves a great deal more recognition. The only way this is not a Sasquatch is if it’s a gorilla. But wait, gorillas aren’t red. Okay, the only way this is not a Sasquatch is if it’s an orangutan and her baby…in an Ontario forest.

Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) was required to be accompanied by crew-members who wore brightly-colored vests while in the forests of the Pacific Northwest filming scenes set on Endor, so as not to be mistaken for Bigfoot and shot.
