I will be a guest on CNN tonight, Friday, June 1, 2007, between 8-9 p.m. ET, on Paula Zahn Now, discussing the Gordon Holmes Nessie footage. Yes, this video is exciting a lot of people, but I wish it would have happened some other week, from a purely personal point of view. As the producer […]

Radio-Controlled Nessie Video

Posted by: Loren Coleman on June 1st, 2007

The Gordon Holmes footage newly taken at Loch Ness, which you can view the stablized version here, should have us looking with caution at the footage of an already existing radio-controlled Nessie. Recognize the above image? Is this one of the two photographs of the original “Surgeon’s Photograph” from 1934? Or is it something else? […]

Update: Nessie Video Stabilized

Posted by: Loren Coleman on June 1st, 2007

The following stabilizations of the new “Nessie” video were created and sent to Cryptomundo by Bill Appleton, Chief Technology Officer, DreamFactory Software, Inc. of Mountain View, CA. It is great footage that seems to show a hump, and then a long neck (perhaps even a head). Eel? Seal? Cryptid long-necked seal? Nessie? Unfortunately, without any […]

Mothman’s Eyes: What Color?

Posted by: Loren Coleman on May 24th, 2007

Bill Rebsamen’s illustration completed for me in 2001, for use on the cover of my Mothman book. Does it matter what color the eyes of a more stylized imaging of Mothman appears in graphic art? Two color drawings of “Coleman’s Cryptozoo” arrived overnight from Len Peralta. What version of Mothman‘s eyes do you like? For […]

Posted by: John Kirk on May 24th, 2007

I haven’t been to Loch Morar in Scotland. It is always that left hand turn that I miss when I travel north from southern Scotland to the Highlands. I have been to Lochs Lomond, Linnhe, Lochy, Oich, Ness and Shiel, but Morar remains on my to-do list. Elizabeth Montgomery wrote about the creature of Loch […]

As I spend a fair amount of my investigative work at Okanagan Lake, […]
