Wetzel’s “It” by Bill Rebsamen from Mysterious America (page 273). In 1970, John A. Keel’s book Strange Creatures from Time and Space was first published. I’d been corresponding with Keel for several years by then, and had been feeding him reports, cases, and sightings of reptilian creatures in North America. Keel turned my files into […]

From Curious Encounters, Faber and Faber, 1985. In recent years, Merbeings have taken on the appearance of Lizardpeople, as above, and the Merman and Mermaid roots in the sightings seemed to have been fading. Most reports of Merbeings generally seem to be from over a hundred years ago or are lost in the fog of […]

During the year, the crew from this show came to Maine, Texas, and a lot of other places across North America. Don’t be surprised if you see some familiar faces in this series, including people you know in the first mini-documentary ever about an all-women Bigfoot expedition. Monsterquest, which debuts this fall, will take a […]

I suppose the annual holiday allows them the freedom to talk about monsters, creatures, and cryptids without looking over their […]

There has to be an esteemed place in the cryptocosmos for this well-known comic artist. A Midwestern guy like me, Richard Corben was born October 1, 1940, on a farm in Anderson, Missouri.
