A new film chronicling the frightening history of the Bigfoot-like “Fouke Monster of Boggy Creek” is headed to screens this November. A new trailer has just been released for the feature-length, documentary, featuring a slew of dramatic imagery that gives insight into the look and tone. The film is titled Boggy Creek Monster and is the third in a series called Small Town Monsters.

Minerva Monster Day Returns to Ohio Town September 24th

Minerva Monster Day is a cryptid-themed, small town festival that centers around the subject of a famous Bigfoot-type creature said to live near the town. While last years’ event acted as the official premiere for the Small Town Monsters’ production, Minerva Monster, this one will see screenings of multiple films across a variety of unusual creature topics from Bigfoot to Loch Ness Monster. The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event which will also play host to a speaking presentation from renowned museum curator, author and lecturer, Loren Coleman.

Boggy Creek Monster Teaser Trailer

A feature length documentary chronicling the bizarre and often-disturbing tales of a swamp monster said to lurk in Southern Arkansas is making its way to screens. The film is titled Boggy Creek Monster and is the third in a series called Small Town Monsters.

Beast of Whitehall Premiere This Weekend

The film is about the mysterious sightings of an unidentified beast in Whitehall in August 1976. A number of eyewitnesses, including members of law enforcement agencies, saw a strange, huge, hairy, man-like creature in the Adirondack region, in the northeastern part of upstate New York. Now, an independent film crew from Ohio, including producer/composer Brandon Dalo, have made a film about the ominous events.

Small Town Monsters Unleashes Whitehall One-Sheet

August, 1976: Three teens driving on an isolated stretch of road somewhere in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York have a brush with a bizarre creature. Standing over 7 feet tall and covered in hair, they referred to it as a “beast”. Hours later, Abair Road was crawling with local and state police. Many of them recounted seeing the creature, as well.

Beast of Whitehall is part of a series of films called “Small Town Monsters” that focus on creatures unknown to science that become part of the lore and legend of rural communities. Beast of Whitehall has already screened at film festivals across the country.

Last Call for the Boggy Creek Monster

Now in its final days, the crowdfunding campaign to fund the production of the third Small Town Monsters film, Boggy Creek Monster, has gathered well over 150% of its initial goal. While the outpouring of support is somewhat unprecedented for a documentary revolving around the Bigfoot subject, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. With the involvement of the man who authored the definitive book about Boggy Creek, Beast of Boggy Creek, as well as the name recognition associated with the Legend of Boggy Creek, the Kickstarter had a head start.

Boggy Creek Monster Campaign Adds Rewards

Due to the overwhelming success of the Small Town Monsters crowdfunding campaign for their next film, Boggy Creek Monster, there have been additional rewards added. The original goal was surpassed in just four days and the campaign is now rolling past the 150% funded goal.

SasWhat: With Craig Flipy

Mark and Seth welcome Craig Flipy to the show. Craig is a videographer, and filmmaker from Portland, Oregon. Craig has appeared in and worked on the Finding Bigfoot show and was a key part of the team behind Bigfoot Roadtrip which he made with his pal, Cliff Barackman.

Craig is in the throes of working on his next movie, Crappy Little Dreams. An intensely personal look at two moped trips he’s taken that also happen to involve some Bigfooting.

Boggy Creek Monster Kickstarter Goes Live

The crowdfunding campaign to make the next Small Town Monsters movie is now online. The film, titled Boggy Creek Monster, will be the third in the series and focus on the long history of Southern Sasquatch reports in and around the town of Fouke, Arkansas.
