From director Aleksandar Petakov and producer Seth Breedlove, comes the first salvo in a new ongoing series from Small Town Monsters titled “On the Trail of…”. The first mini-series will dive into the decades-long history of sightings of the lake monster known as “Champ”, said to inhabit the waters of Vermont and New York’s Lake Champlain. This weekend The Mothman Festival once again descends upon downtown Point Pleasant. While the town is no stranger to large crowds of paranormal enthusiasts and fun-seekers alike, this year’s event might push the attendance to record heights. Bolstered by guests from televisions “Mountain Monsters” and a number of high profile authors and personalities the festival is looking for attendees to come by the thousands.
Though the annual festival doesn’t kick off officially until Saturday morning, this year there will be a Friday night “Kick start” to the shindig that includes the first public, big screen showing of the hit independent documentary, The Mothman of Point Pleasant.
