The Earth Hound of Banffshire

Posted by: Nick Redfern on December 22nd, 2012

Dr. Karl Shuker, in a new post at his Shuker Nature blog, says: “Cryptozoologically-speaking, Scotland is world-famous for the Loch Ness monster, and also for its plethora of pantheresque and cougar-like mystery cats that allegedly roam its lonely moors and shadowy glens. “In cryptozoology, it is always a delight to unearth accounts of hitherto-obscure mystery beasts from the archives of antiquity,” says Dr. Karl Shuker, in a new post, continuing: “Lately two such creatures, hailing from widely disparate geographical regions but of oddly similar appearance, have occupied my attention simultaneously, though with very different outcomes, as will […]

Man v. Monster: Brazilian Bigfoot on Nat Geo Wild Tonight!

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on December 7th, 2012

For generations, tales of a creature called the mapinguari have been passed down among Amazonian villagers.
